Name: Lydia Lovecraft
Age: 21
Height: 5'4"
Origin: New York
Employment: former student, tortured writer
Likes: zombie movies, crossword puzzles
Dislikes: horses
Powers:
Lydia's powers are, unfortunately for her, mostly unintentional. Her various well-intentioned attempts at writing novels, newspaper articles, poems, screenplays and grocery lists end up inflicting diabolical psychic torture on all who read them, much to Lydia's dismay. She keeps on trying, though, hoping that one day, the world will recognize her TRUE GENIUS. When driven to extreme anger, Lydia is able to summon up a fairly limited set of telekinetic powers - just strong enough to lift small objects a foot or two in the air. Believes herself to be a proficient fighter after multiple viewings of Enter the Dragon and a free trial lesson in every martial arts discipline known to mankind. Is deluded on this account.
Personality:
Dreamy, articulate and well-mannered, Lydia doesn't seem all that intimidating on the outside. On the inside, she's a neurotic, psychotic mess.
Past:
A direct descendant (mother's side) of Abdul Alhazred, author of the infamous Necronomicon, Lydia's cursed family has turned out almost nothing but tortured artists for over a thousand years. Throughout her childhood, Lydia desperately tried to save herself from a dark fate, engaging in years of community service and even rising to the rank of Junior Girl Scout, but to no avail. After being expelled in her last semester from Miskatonic University for editing a newspaper so demonic that it made all who read it turn into lumps of sulfur, Lydia, miserable and unemployable, gravitated to a life of villainy. Born and raised in New York, Lydia never hesitates to unfavorably compare her surroundings to The Greatest City in the World.
