Kuroda's main power is super speed, which he uses in conjunction with his katana to slice through matter that would otherwise be impervious to an edged weapon. Although powerful, this method of fighting requires him to hold back considerably against human opponents and inflicts constant abuse upon any sword he uses. Because of this, the custom-made Hakkai is the only one he can use for an extended length of time. Kur also has a number of consequent secondary powers (e.g. heightened reflexes that allow him to avoid obstacles while running, and increased strength to support his speed), gained from either his innate abilities or drilled into him by extensive training.
Personality:
Kur is a carefree person who arrived in Paragon mainly out of curiosity. Although generally friendly, he dislikes being told what to do, especially by people he doesn't recognize or regards as inflexible. Kuroda does not regard himself as a hero.
Past:
Yuuki grew up in an isolated area of Hokkaido (Soya Subprefecture) under the eye of his grandmother, an accomplished swordsman herself. At approximately 17, he left home, heading south to explore the outside world. He ended up wandering aimlessly before eventually spotted by a talent agent. Kur is currently a fairly popular idol in Japan.
Techniques:
Hakkou: This eight-part multidirectional running strike allows Kuroda to appear momentarily as if he is in several places at once. It is ideal for breaking through heavy armor because it involves multiple blows which would almost certainly kill an ordinary opponent. For this reason, Kuroda only brings it into use against particularly tough enemies. First used in Ch 2.
