Differences From CoX

Although re.FLECT draws a lot from CoX, it also differs from what you find in game (probably more and more as time goes on). For example, Kur and Rad possess attacks that differ from their in-game counterparts and Squall's abilities simply don't exist. Some of the bigger differences:

 

  • As necessary as it may be for gameplay, there's nothing really super about the amount of enemies most toons can take out solo. I've seen Batman take out more minions than Kur at once, and his reflexes aren't even super :P. On that note, here's a random video of Lee being totally awesome and Kimimaro, the L33T spines scrapper. That's what MA should be, dammit >:/. Or at least have cool animations, like Neji.

 

 

  • Eight-man team limits? BAHAHAHAHA.

 

  • +Bishounen, yayyy.

 

  • People can die. Interestingly, Rad has informed me that superheroes don't kill people. I thought they just had something against it, but apparently it's some kind of rule (The Authority also says this. It must be true). However, I find it hard to believe the hospital teleporters never miss anyone. I always thought, "Try not to kill if you can help it" was a better way to go. Plus, blood!

 

  • CoH's toon creator is really nice, way better than any other MMO I've run across... but severely lacking in the kind of stuff that would be run of the mill in your typical manga. LIKE SANDALS AND KIMONO FOR GUYS TO MATCH THE FAKE HAKAMA.
